Black seamless gutters on a new addition
Matching
Old runs and new runs should read as one system
The hard part of a remodel is the joint between old and new. A different profile or a downspout that dumps on a lower roof shows up the first time it rains.
We can match what is there, or replace the whole run so it is one system. Valera tells you which makes sense at the estimate.

- Tie old to newNew runs connect to the existing system so water reaches a downspout.
- Tie into old runsNew sections connect to existing gutters so water flows to a downspout.
- Replace the whole runWhen old gutters are tired, one new seamless run beats patching.
- Addition roofsA new roof gets its own downspout plan so it does not dump on the old one.
- Lower roofs under upper roofsWe show where water lands and where the downspout needs to go.
Fascia and soffit
Check the roof edge before you cover it
When the old gutter comes off, the fascia behind it often shows what the water has been doing. Soft or stained boards should be replaced, not wrapped over. Covering rot in aluminum can hide it.
We replace rotted fascia boards, then wrap them in aluminum, then the new gutter goes on.
- 01
Inspect at the estimate
We look at fascia, soffit and the old gutter together, not one at a time.
- 02
Replace bad boards
Fascia board replacement comes before wrap or gutter.
- 03
Wrap and soffit
Fascia wrap keeps wood out of the weather. New vinyl soffit is vented.
- 04
Hang the new gutter
The new seamless run goes on sound, straight trim.

Questions
Quick answers
- Can you match my existing gutters?
- Usually, yes. We tie into the existing system where we can. If the old gutters are worn or the profile will not work with new ones, replacing the whole run may be the better answer.
- I am adding on. How do the gutters tie in?
- We connect the new roof edge to the existing gutters or give the addition its own downspouts. Valera checks where water from the new roof will land before he quotes.
- What if the fascia is rotten once the old gutter comes off?
- We replace the bad boards before the new gutter goes up, instead of wrapping over rot.
- Do you handle the old gutters and downspouts?
- Yes. We remove and dispose of old gutters and downspouts. You do not have to haul anything to the curb.
- Can you work around my roofer or siding crew?
- Yes. Gutters come off and go back on around your roofer and sider. We coordinate with them so the work lands in the right order.
